This project consists of the construction of three separate residential towers totaling 552 apartments namely:
•    Tower 1 – Grand Tower – 260 apartments over 40 levels
•    Tower 2 – View Tower – 147 apartments over 27 levels
•    Tower 3 –  Spire Tower – 145 apartments over 38 levels
These three towers were constructed above the Chatswood transport interchange and shopping centre while maintaining full operation for more than 30,000 commuters per day.
Materials handling was an extremely challenging issue for the project, with about 95 per cent of materials being craned into the building while managing very busy pedestrian and vehicular traffic at street level.
All three towers were clad with predominantly double-glazed performance glass units (81,000 panels) including 4500 operable awning windows. The majority of apartments have winter garden balconies.
The project was completed in 27 months to an exceedingly high standard of finishes throughout.
Careful planning of the construction sequence, traffic management and stakeholder management (Transport Sydney trains and buses, retail operation and the precinct building management) was required to ensure that the project was completed with minimal inconvenience to the public. This demonstrates the skill and professionalism of the builders’ management team.
