This portion of “The Star” casino upgrade required the progressive refurbishment of the 22,000m2 main gaming floor, in 26 separate stages whilst keeping the casino fully operational, 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Innovative 200mm thick full height acoustic fire rated panels were used to screen each portion of the work from the casino operations.
The project, requiring intense programming and the installation of complicated services and detailed finishes, was completed in 2.5 years.
