Jade Pools never disappoints in the pool awards and this year is no exception. This pool was not only difficult to design but gave Jade Pools much pain trying to comply with council in relation to a large gum tree — the pool had to be three metres from it. Luckily, the landscape design architect came up with the circular retaining wall to enhance the design and a practical solution to retain the tree. A merbau timber deck was added around the tree and steps down to the pool patio and step area. Fine white pebbles with blue glass fades into the deep shaded colours from the gum tree foliage. A truly stunning look.
