The newbuilding includes a 550 seat lecture theatre, 2 x 300 seat lecture theatres,   8 x 100 seat case study rooms, 40 seminar rooms, 3 learning hubs and major informal learning space. 
The building is part of a fully operational University. Site access was severely limited by the surrounding narrow streets and traffic. Surrounding residents, community groups and schools were concerned about construction traffic and multi storey development in an area dominated by terrace houses. The builder managed these concerns and built positive relationships between the relevant parties,
Works included large spans and transfer beams, and multistrand post tensioned reinforcement were uased.BIM modelling was used in design and construction. The façade was complex and included multiple diverse components. . 
The final product is a building with careful and thorough detailing. The Builder and the design team have completed this building to the highest standard with obvious care and pride.  This building will set a very high benchmark for Sydney University future works.
