The construction of the Western Grandstand, completes the re development of the Energy Australia Stadium to an international standard, with a 33,000 seating capacity.
Some features incorporated in this final stage are:
•    Tiered seating for 13,500 patrons
•    Spectator amenities, including bars, fast food outlets, toilets etc.
•    Television and Radio broadcasting rooms.
•    Corporate entertainment and function rooms
•    Police and Security personnel rooms
•    Coaches and support staff rooms
The grandstand was completed in May 2011, eight weeks ahead of the contract completion date.
