This new veterinary diagnostic laboratory is a training facility for the early years of veterinary science, for post-graduate training & research and for commercial investigation into animal health.
The two level, 2,400m2 building consists of an angular structural steel frame clad in a combination of colorbond architectural steel and feature timber panels.
Special internal features include a hydraulic adjustable animal autopsy table, with an overhead gantry crane for handling large animals.
High attention to detail was required especially in the construction of the physical containment laboratory.
