The project is located on a prominent green field site near the entry to the campus; it is a two storey building with a structural steel canopy over the concrete structure.  The dominant external feature is a gabion rock retaining wall 3.5 metres high and 80 metres long.  The external façade is a combination of Alucabond panels, diagonal Spandeck metal cladding and glazing.  Internally the building is fitted out with Dental simulation rooms, lecture rooms, laboratories, clinical training facilities and administration offices.
This most attractive university building was completed in 12 months.
