This building, built in 1908, has had an additional two floors added above and a new basement level altered from a car park to usable space, while retaining existing heritage features. Kane Constructions encountered numerous issues during construction including asbestos removal, restricted access, constructing alongside a heritage building, retention of heritage items, and the strengthening of the existing structure.
The building features basement wet areas including bathrooms and saunas, an impressive ground floor entrance and chapel on level one with office and educational spaces on the floors above. The retention and quality of the restoration of windows, terrazzo flooring and parquetry is impressive and finished to a high standard.
