Transport House was built during the Depression and was left vacant for thirty years prior to the refurbishment. The four major elements of the work were;
•    Demolition and hazardous material removal.
•    Installation of all new services.
•    Façade and window restoration, which required the fixing of the sandstone façade back to the structure.
•    Restoration of the various heritage fabrics within the building.
This difficult project was completed in eighteen months.
