McDonald’s at Wallsend is a new store concept, the first of the new generation family-friendly stores, and the building design is modern and open.
Building works included extensive outdoor seating areas, playground, a large function room, staff facilities, multiple drive-through lanes and a large service and delivery dock.
This project also included extensive external park and landscape areas. Levels were set to suit council’s requirements for flooding. Major high-voltage powerlines were relocated, as were stormwater and sewer lines. 
This building has been fitted out with the latest technology to allow for online ordering, modern menus and associated food preparation services. Furniture, signage and seating were included in the contract.
Completed in nine months, this is a well-built and well-finished building.
