The design and construction by Lend Lease of Top Ryde City, Australia’s largest retail development by commenced in 2007, the first stage opened in November 2009, the second Stage in March 2010, and Stage 3 was opened in August 2010, the project costing some $495 million dollars and containing 78,215square metres of retail space, housing 290 retailers and has 3055 car parking spaces.
The shear scale of the shopping centre across 3.5 hectares and its location around one of Sydney’s busiest arterial routes required meticulous planning.
Construction challenges were huge and addressed with skill and professionalism by a very large and dedicated project team who delivered a complicated retail development in stages over  3 years through extensive planning and co operation with all stake holders for a Guarantee Maximum Price.
