Yarrila Place” is a new multi storey community building for the City of Coffs Harbour Split across 8 storeys the building includes a new regional art gallery, a multi-level public Library, an array of interactive public spaces, multi-level Council  offices, Council Chambers, basement car park, EOT facilities and a Café.  The building incorporates an internal street (Atrium)with a cantilevered stair connecting the various levels and rooftop terrace. The stairs in itself is a very impressive feature of the Atrium.  The building has a bespoke curtain wall façade featuring an array of concave and convex curves finished in glazed ceramics. The façade required a complex steel frame curved in 2 directions to cater for the multiple shapes.  The brickwork is also a feature of the building, incorporating different formats and pattens and curved elements. The building was completed to a high level and the Lipman team can be proud of the Project and the fact that they overcame a number of site and logistics issues to complete the works to a high standard.
