Tertiary Buildings - REFURBISMENT
The Great Hall at the UTS Broadway campus, originally built in the 1970s, has been transformed into modern functional space.
Internally, the ceiling and walls have been clad in what is called “The Mantle”, which is made up of 1,200 individual perforated, copper coloured composite aluminium panels, which provide acoustics and return air path for the air-conditioning. 
What was an external balcony has been enclosed with a most impressive but complex glazed curtain wall.
The work was completed in just 32 weeks.
