The Foundry has earned the title of Mirvac’s first ‘groundscraper’ in reference to its large scale, low-level design. There are five atriums in total, surrounded by 3 kilometres of balustrade and 2,500sqm of prefabricated skylights that weighed 15 tonnes each. The judging panel was very impressed with the Design for Manufacture and Assembly.  The building’s overall detail, complexity and high quality of finishes makes it a clear winner of this division.
