8 Chifley Sqaure is an iconic commercial building in the Sydney CBD comprising 23 floors and two basements with a net lettable area of approximately 19,500 square metres. 
The building is a premium grade investment building with exceedingly high standard of specified finishes with a unique structural system and external prefabricated fire stairs. 
The commercial office spaces are split into a combination of double or triple level interconnected villages and single contiguous floor plates. The villages are connected by stairs. The office lobby is a separate structural glass box.
The unique design and buildability restraints of the building provided the builder with numerous challenges requiring detailed planning and execution of the works. It is a testament to the site team in overcoming these numerous issues and completing the project ahead of the contract period.
The building has been well constructed and finished to an exceedingly high level demonstrating the attention to detail which could only have been achieved with a whole team participation approach.
