This $30 million project is the biggest construction ever undertaken by Tamworth Regional Council.  Its spectacular design has an indoor arena, 40m x 80m with seating for 4,000 people. 
The roof trusses are 80 m long, post tensioned, the roof sheets are 74 m single length, rolled on site. There is an attached circular sales ring with seating for 560 people. Under the stadium there are holding yards for      200 horses.
There are six separate stable blocks housing 478 horses. Also an education / training facility with seating for 44, a veterinary room, meeting room and showers and toilets. There are powered parking bays for 195 trucks.
This is a most impressive and well built facility.
