Nepean Pools collaborated with the homeowners to bring their vision to life and it was very important to them that the pool had a natural look so that it complements the backyard’s existing feel and setting. The installation process of this 5m-long pool was unlike any other. Prior to the pool’s installation, Nepean Pools adjusted the espalier along the side boundary fence and folded them back off the fence. Panels of the paling fence were removed and two concrete blocks were lowered over the two existing retaining walls in the backyard, with aluminium ramps leading from the driveway to the pool location. An excavator obtained the necessary reach to excavate the hole and load the tipper truck behind. Nepean Pools gave its personal guarantee that it would not damage the retaining walls, which, upon completion of the project, were untouched. With its volcanic ash interior and granite coping, this pool is an elegant addition to an inner west property.
