This fitout covers 900m2 which includes an extended gym floor featuring high-end fitness equipment and specialised areas for functional and group training, weightlifting, Reformer Pilates, and an MMA/Boxing enclosure. Notably included were LED backlit mirrors throughout the exercise floor, Pilates, and group training rooms and a café and lounge area was incorporated into the fitout. The space includes custom-built MMA cage panels, specialised floor and wall cushion pads, and a retractable system for the ceiling-mounted punching bags. The club’s amenities include a well-integrated changing space with lockers, bathrooms, and showers. A standout feature is the steam rooms. A major challenge encountered was the conversion of the basement storage facility into the gym’s amenities space. Delivery restrictions demanded diligence from the procurement and logistics team due to the height limit of the lower-level car park and the project’s location on a busy street. The workmanship in this fitout carried out over eight weeks was of a high standard with Pacific Design & Construct using its skills, planning and installation to reflect the quality produced.
