This project comprised the major refurbishment of Eastgardens Library. The works involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the existing library and offices to provide a modern facility incorporating an updated library and customer services centre. The works had to be carried out within an operational shopping centre, which is managed by Westfield.  The work was completed under a very tight program and included demolition and stripout, complete new services, new architectural custom curved ceilings, and all furnishings and services updates, plus the provision of IT services with multimedia outlets.  Difficulties included working within the operating shopping centre involving direct interface with the public.  The works were well executed and provided a high-quality finish.
