A most difficult design and construct project from demolition to completion built on a very congested site with limited access. The office building with basements was built between two large existing heritage buildings on a heritage campus with existing aged care facilities at the rear of the site, a crisis centre providing accommodation for women and children and a historic chapel all of which remained operational during the construction operations.
The site team has demonstrated great flexibility in working in partnership with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society to keep all their adjoining facilities secure and operational, ensuring adherence to strict OH&S requirements and producing a well finished, high quality office building .
