Flinders Centre Bankstown is a nine-storey commercial office tower located above the existing five-storey Bankstown Sports Club carpark. This new 10,525m² net lettable area building brings commerce and community together to offer contemporary, efficient and sustainable A-grade suburban office space.  Flinders Centre is the only commercial building in Bankstown with a 5-Star Green Star rating and targeting a 5-Star NABERS rating. The sustainable design, fitout, construction and operations are state of the art, and the energy-efficient technology is available to all building tenants.  The construction and delivery of the building was undertaken while maintaining full operations of Bankstown Sports Club. Throughout the entire construction process, the club maintained full services to more than 50,000 visitors per week with no disruption.  A major feature of the building is the steel and glass lift shaft containing four high-speed glass lifts. The judges were impressed with the way all construction challenges were planned and successfully implemented. The building is finished to a high standard of workmanship.
