This modern 5-star, Green Star-rated, glass-encased multi-purpose tertiary education, and research building features nine facade types. UTS Central has a mixture of curtain wall and window wall glazed facades and features 48 different types of glass and 3600 individual glass panels.  The largest glazed panel measures 6m x 2.3m and weighs around 700kg. These panels were installed with mobile cranes and bespoke glass installation equipment. The closed cavity facade of the upper levels features louvre blinds which are encased between the internal and external glass sheeting. The sleek curved glass panels on each level of the twisting floor plates create a wow factor in the overall appearance of this quality building
