The Northern Beaches Business Park is one of the largest of its kind in the Northern Beaches area, comprising upon completion of 11 warehouse units across 2 buildings incorporating both basement and on grade parking. Also included was the refurbishment of an existing 2 story heritage office building & heritage cottage, plus modification & preservation of the 44m high Roche Tower. Site specific problems such as contaminated ground water was managed by the installation of permanent monitoring wells & a sub slab venting system. Due to difficult & variable ground conditions, 10,000m3 of contaminated material had to be managed on site. The structure included a combination of pile & pad footings, plus post tensioned concrete floors.  Wet weather & the need for staged completions & handovers to suit the client & tenants added to site management difficulties. This business park industrial units complex has been a project requiring careful planning and dynamic design & construction which has led to the quality facility created.
