The main distinguishing feature of his project, and the most striking is the workmanship provided to the decorative dry pressed brickwork. The bricks selected were Bowral Blue, Limusim Gold, Murray Grey and Capital Red.   The brickwork is not just detailed in one plane, and is articulated and has stone inserts were radius cut at arches The radius work to the external patio area is very detailed and has arches in both directions. Apart from the complex nature of the design of the brickwork and the difficulty in laying the finished product, the bricklayers had to ensure that waterproofing integrity be maintained and that any required fixing through membranes be waterproofed by the membrane subcontractor before brickwork proceeded.   The Bricklaying team deserve recognition for the brickwork quality achieved on this project, which is rarely seen in these times. The result is a very striking series of arches that on completion belies the complexity required in their creation.
