Splish Splash Pools worked on this unique property with beautifully manicured gardens and a classic North Shore house. On inspection the issues with the pool space were obvious. There was a disconnect between the pool and the current outdoor living area with too many steps so close to both spaces, and the room around the pool was limited due to ill-placement of a now dysfunctional spa. The plan to combat these issues was to raise the pool up (reducing one step from the alfresco area), eliminate the spa, straighten the side of the pool to formalise the design and open up the walkways surrounding the pool, and the use of classic products to complement the original design of the property. Replacing the old pool fence with a frameless glass fence creates as sense of space and an easy transition between the entertainment and pool area. The fully tiled interior produces a high-quality finish which complements the travertine surrounds. Features which were added to the pool include pool lighting, gas heating, an Aqualink pool controller with iAqualink and an in-floor cleaning system. These features combine to provide a longer swimming season and minimise maintenance for the owner. The renovation of this pool was completed on time and within budget.
