This lump sum tendered project consists of 2 large reception rooms, bar and amenities areas, café, commercial kitchen and specialist florist shop and large landscaped areas built on a site within an. existing operating cemetery.  The site was restricted by graves and headstones within 300mm of the building fabric, which required a scaffold with a full working platform erected over the graves in a sensitive manner.
Excavation operations were extremely difficult requiring large quantity of sand to be removed and stockpiled onsite to enable grout injected piles and then footing beams to be installed down to rock level whilst ensuring no damage occurred to the existing graves and the surrounding stone work. 
The building structure consists of a structural steel frame clad with high quality finishes both internally and externally built with great care and attention to detail in a most sensitive location.
