The Woollamia studies centre was constructed on a 40 hectare site. Boarded by the Currambene Creek, the site is a mix of cleared grazing land, wetlands &native forest, a unique environment for students to learn.
The facility features two accommodation buildings for Senior & Junior students, a communal long house plus, teaching, administration & learning spaces & a catering facility for 100 combined students & staff.   
Construction challenges experienced was the control & implementation of extensive tree protection, the stormwater runoff & collection plus the fire rating of timber framed elements.
Stephen Edwards team worked collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the design issues were quickly identified & resolved. The result was a project surpassing exceptional quality, aesthetical& functional expectations.
