This outstanding indoor lap pool features extraordinary touches, such as fully tiled glass mosaics applied with epoxy grouting, a roll-over weir so kids can slide in and out of the spa, non-slip tiles on the floor shallow end which allows the owners the flexibility of aqua aerobics, plus the swimmers’ lap lane to Australian standards. Brett Thompson from Sunset Pools, together with the 2011 MBA Master Builder of the Year Komplete Constructions and architect Supersoma, designed this 25m pool and spa, an exercise requiring the most stringent construction program which forced the construction of the pool at the same time as the builder started the construction of the designer residence. A commercial filtration and plant room, designed by Sunset Pools, ensures the pool and spa are well maintained. The final result looks as though it’s part of a high-end commercial project – congratulations Sunset Pools on a well-deserved win.
