This highly unique state-of-the-art performing arts centre boasts endless superior features over the five levels. The lower ground and Level 1 comprise of a 5000m2 car park and a specialised acoustic recording studio, music rooms and recreational spaces. Level 2 showcases a 750-seat tiered lyric theatre and multi-purpose auditorium (including a large stage and an adjustable orchestra pit), multi-purpose dance and drama rooms, sound equipment control room, a commercial-grade kitchen and a 165-seat minor performance space. Levels 3, 4 and 5 house rehearsal areas, interview rooms, an outside terrace with seating and gardens plus roof and plant equipment.  The external brick and glass façade of the new building flawlessly complements its established surroundings.  The design, documentation and procurement process on this project was highly complex. Taylor Projects has achieved an outcome that has demonstrated excellence in the overall construction process.
