The judges noted the meticulous planning resulting in a functional and attractive layout which were the hall marks of a truly excellent swimming pool
The feature wall is a representation of Sydney-city life with a modern and sleek design, with sharp lines as well as giving an atmosphere of a buzzing lifestyle as a full picture of a modern city.
The pool positioning involved the alfresco/kitchen corner ensuring perfect alignment of tiles on alfresco towards pool combined with the proportional measuring of spa, beach area, internal pool corners, feature wall and entry steps thereby achieving a geometrical symmetry
The complexity of the excavation process to drive in 3.3tonne machine beside the existing residence as well as access for a bob-cat. 
Care has been taken with custom tile orders especially for internal corners with drop edge and dual side drop edge over the two spa walls. Feature wall dual drop edge tiles were required as well. Installation of stainless steel drainage with a separate submersible pump in an underground water pit, so full water control was established to avoid excess water running into neighbouring properties. Attention was given to pool lightning with multi LED lights to ensure full illumination of entire pool and spa and at same time to fall into prefect synchronisation with garden and other outdoor lights. 
Power and energy demanding equipment have been offset through high end solar power panels on the roof newly installed by client meaning that the pool is achieving the modern demand for Eco friendly solutions.
The Jandy Deck Jets  give life and movement to the pool with their spectacular laminar flow wih 4 jets and some distance from the pump, consideration of differential water flow and pressure to each jet meant that installation of a loop to equalise delivering water, and then separate control valve for each jet was addressed by the builder. Additional by-pass return was installed on the same line to release any possible back pressure from use of 3 speed variable pump ensuring there is never stress on the pressurised plumbing lines.
