The Residential Gardens at Rooty Hill is a 22-bed extension to an existing aged care facility.
This project required the relocation of major services, with the existing aged care facility remaining operational at all times. This was achieved by construction footing modification and meticulous attention to safe methods of work and their management.
Further structural modifications during construction resulted in significant cost and time benefits.
The extension connected to the existing facility at three points. Communication and co-operation to achieve this, with the existing building remaining operative, is a credit to all involved.
Built with a Spanish theme, this is a complex, well-built and carefully programmed building. It is a good example of a project completed with the cooperation of all disciplines and the client.
