Over the years you hear people in construction say the floor is so clean you could eat off it. Never before would I have applied that saying at all, let alone to a civil site, particularly one the scale size and magnitude of the Barangaroo Ventia Utility project site. Such a systematic and calculated approach is applied to everything that they do. Safety in design was employed to dome shaped site encapsulation to contain airborne contaminates, that moved incrementally with precision on its own track and rail system. Process approach safety was evident in everything Ventia do, which is why this submission is every bit worthy of a “Merit” in an extremely competitive field in 2020.
