The Blacktown Mount Druitt Hospital Stage 2 - Acute Services Building is a significant 9-storey health building, providing state-of-the-art medical facilities and much-needed acute facilities to the western suburbs. As a result of the construction being adjacent to the existing Stage 1 building, the works had to be carefully integrated with the day-to-day hospital activities. Access and materials handling was carefully thought out.
