By sewing the safety seed absolutely everywhere possibly conceivable, in small doses, delivers a very strong message that supports safety. From the minute you arrive at this site it is obvious safety comes first. Innovative ways to get workers buy in with safety is then supported through the induction process, with each worker receiving a token gesture watch reinforcing that there is time to work safely and not to rush! Complimentary sunnies to protect workers eyes operating in the western NSW heat. Walking through this meticulously organised site is representative of the pinnacle of construction. Under this site team’s supervision, planning and actions is where you would want your children to work – safely. The site is sprinkled with small safety gestures and subtle messages in the form A4 colourful short sharp safety signs, strategically placed, in the lifts, at the top of walk ways, lunch rooms. A temporary aero bridge was specifically designed and installed to maintain program and equally to remove workers from mobile plant while the hospital remains fully operational without disruption. Last but not least let’s not forget AW Edwards take on the complimentary drink cooler that the rest of Australia calls a stubbie holder, remaining hydrated is essential, nice touch! Let’s not forget one of the few sites in Sydney with its own canteen on site.  Yum! The canteen is inclusive of a revolving safety message displayed on a LCD screen that is updated in real time, remotely. All this is a product of site management and safety staff working in a cooperative cohesive manner.
