This office building is the first of four buildings that are built against each other on a very narrow site located in the heart of the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct close to the rail corridor and surrounded by the Easter Show facilities. The street frontage was used for the inaugural V8 car event at Olympic Park during the construction period which closed the site.
These adjoining public facilities created their own particular OHS issues regarding material deliveries, storage, safety and noise which required the site team to engage in considerable consultation with event organisers during the construction process.
The building has been well constructed and the finishes demonstrate attention to detail which could only have been achieved with a whole team participation approach.
