Market Street consists of the first stage of the refurbishment of the project comprising 30,000m2 of office space below the Sydney Tower. 90% of the structure was reused and 80% of the demolished materials recycled. The commercial tower is currently Australia’s largest 6 star-green star office design v2 certified refurbishment. Construction works required that dedicated sequential work be instigated whilst working around the support cabling to the tower, keeping the centre open and ensuring the safety of the public.
