The street façade and one front room of this cottage were heritage listed and the only access was through the front of the building. The Builder has used hand bored contiguous piers to underpin the stone footings and to support the neighboring properties and has constructed a circular cellar below the ground floor slab level that is accessed through a trap door in the timber floor.
