Tony Maher has quit as Construction Forestry Maritime Mining and Energy Union national president. 

In his resignation letter, Mr Maher said "the CFMMEU has become impossibly divided and dysfunctional with no repair in sight". The mining divisions General Secretary has also quit as the unions National Vice President. 

In line with Master Builders, they accuse the Construction Division of the union and the infamous John Setka of bullying. 

It’s reported that the equally infamous MUA leader Christy Cain who is a close ally of Setka is seeking to replace Michael O’Connor as National Secretary of the CFMMEU.
