The NSW Government has announced an Expression of Interest (EOI) for builders and the community housing sector to renew a suburban area south of Bray Street, close to the Coffs Park Beach Plaza retail precinct. The EOI is designed to bring innovative new ideas to the table and test how existing government assets might be leveraged to deliver much-needed modern, high-quality new social and private housing in the region.
The EOI supports the objectives of Coffs Harbour City Council’s Local Growth Management Strategy, and respondents must highlight opportunities for innovation in design, sustainability, financial and delivery outcomes. Respondents must present ideas that increase the density and diversity of housing, as well as replace existing social housing with modern, new social homes that better meet local demand and are culturally sensitive for Aboriginal residents, within a modern mixed tenure community.
The Argyll Estate renewal EOI is being run by the NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) and is open until Friday 18 June. Find out more information here
