The Master Builders Association of New South Wales (MBA NSW), in partnership with the NSW Government, is proud to announce the launch of Women Building NSW, a new website designed to attract, support, and promote women in the building and construction industry.

Recognising the industry's urgent need for skilled workers and the significant gender gap in the workforce, MBA NSW has developed this comprehensive resource hub to empower women and create a more inclusive and diverse construction sector.

Women Building NSW provides a wealth of resources for women at all stages of their careers, including:

  • Information on career pathways and training opportunities
  • Support networks and mentorship programs
  • Resources for employers to attract and retain female talent
  • Information for parents and young girls considering a career in construction

"We are thrilled to launch Women Building NSW, a platform that will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining more women in our industry," said Brian Seidler, Executive Director of MBA NSW. "By providing the necessary resources and support, we hope to empower women to pursue fulfilling careers in this dynamic and rewarding sector."

NSW President Bob Black added, "Women are the key to unlocking the potential of our industry and addressing the housing crisis. The Women Building NSW hub is a major step towards ensuring that women have the tools and support they need to thrive in construction."

MBA NSW is committed to fostering a more inclusive and diverse construction industry. The launch of Women Building NSW is a testament to this commitment and a significant milestone in the effort to build a stronger and more equitable future for the industry.
