Master Builders (MBA) has established a Strata Inspection Panel (“Panel”) in response to the Strata Scheme Management Act 2015 for identified building industry organisations to prepare, establish and maintain a Panel to carry out inspections on Class 2 and 3 Buildings.

MBA Consultants who had applied to be on the Panel attended an interactive Workshop for two days on 22-23 October 2021. As a result, 15 MBA Consultants are now qualified to be on the Panel. 

The MBA is now updating its website to include the Panel which will go “live” very soon.

It is anticipated that a further opportunity will be available early next year for any other MBA Consultants interested in being included on the Panel. Anyone who is interested in becoming an Inspector should satisfy themselves that they meet the eligibility criteria and, if so, can complete an expression of interest  to attend the upcoming workshop. The number of places available for the Workshop will be limited.
