A new online platform has been launched for the Australian building and construction industry! 
The platform is known as myBIG, the Building Information Gateway.
- The online platform is a technical resource library that is accessed by a powerful search engine.
- This exciting new information infrastructure will assist in increasing quality construction in Australian building and construction industry.
- It makes compliance achievable, with easy access to standards, finding best practise, checking building codes, searching supplier information and much more.
- The new platform has been welcomed by NSW Building Commissioner, David Chandler OAM.
New compliance requirements have recently been imposed on the building and construction industry and myBIG will provide guidance for the introduction of new practices. Whether an architect is drawing or specifying, or builders are checking minimum standards, myBIG is available anytime everywhere on all devices.
myBIG will quickly evolve and grow. Every day will see additions to the library covering issues that confront all building and construction industry participants. CPD online, the ever-expanding supplier and products directory, and the shop will become working tools for everyone.
The platform will offer the Australian building and construction industry greater access to Australian Standards.

The new platform has been welcomed by NSW Building Commissioner David Chandler OAM.

The platform has been supported by the Master Builders Association of NSW.

Most of the construction industry in Australia is made up of small to medium businesses, and we have worked with Standards Australia to provide solutions for them”, says Master Builders Association of NSW Executive Director Brian Seidler.
“The myBIG platform has been designed by industry technical experts. It uses enterprise-level cloud hosting and storage solutions to ensure we meet the online needs of industry when searching for technical information”, Mr. Seidler stated.
