Master Builders Association is seeking expressions of interest from qualified builders and tradespeople who may be in a position where they would like to share their passion and experience in the industry by training the next generation of building and construction workers.
Due to increasing demand, we require additional trainers and assessors to deliver training qualifications, skill sets, recognition of prior learning and short courses all over NSW at our training offices and offsite.
Our training office locations include:
- Norwest
- Newcastle
- Ballina
- Wollongong
- Port Macquarie
- Gosford
- Ulladulla
- Orange
- Albury
We are seeking qualified and experienced people in any of the following disciplines or skill areas:
- Wall and Ceiling Lining
- Painting and Decorating
- Wall and Floor Tiling
- Concreting
- Demolition
- Waterproofing
- Other trade qualifications
- Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)
- Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience working in the industry
- Hold current industry qualification/s
- Hold a TAE40110 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or higher
- Hold current licence/s (if applicable to your current job role)
- Be located anywhere in NSW
- Be a clear and effective communicator
- Be personable and approachable
- Be patient and work as part of a team
- Be a capable mentor and teacher
Previous experience delivering training and assessment for a Registered Training Organisation is preferred, but not essential.
Trainer and assessor roles with Master Builders are on a contract basis, with variable training workload.
You will be required to have a Working with Children Check clearance.
