All members of the Master Builders Strata Inspection Panel must agree to the following terms and conditions:
- to keep all records to comply with State and industry record keeping requirements relating to the work performed as a building inspector for the purpose of the Strata Schemes Management Act 2015, and failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of their inclusion on the Strata Inspector Panel,
- to make any restriction or condition on their licence known to the MBA immediately, and failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of their inclusion on the Strata Inspector Panel as appropriate in the circumstances,
- not represent that they are able to do work as a building inspector that extends beyond their competency, and failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of their inclusion on the Strata Inspector Panel as appropriate in the circumstances,
- to keep their membership with the MBA and the MBA Consultants Group current, and failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of their inclusion on the Strata Inspector Panel,
- to comply with the MBA’s Code of Ethics and Fair Business Practice and the SIP Code of Conduct, and failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of their inclusion on the Strata Inspector Pane, and
- to possess, at all times, appropriate current Professional Indemnity Insurance with a minimum limit cover of $1,000,000 for any single event, and failure to do so may result in suspension or cancellation of their inclusion on the Strata Inspector Panel.
